Did a nice portrait photography session with my daughter. Yesterday I did a few tests with my Viltrox 85mm 1.8 lens, but today I went back to my Nikkor 50mm 1.8 due to the lack of space. I should’ve turned the background system and lights a quarter.
For these shots the settings are the same. All done at 100 ISO, f/2.8, 1/100 sec. The one with the yellow socks was the 85mm lens; all the others were taken with the 50mm. My daughter was in charge of the poses. She had a few in mind and to be fair: I think she nailed it!
I only used one main light this time: my beloved Nanlite FS300 with the 120cm parabolic softbox. Incredible light! And a simple background system with a 2,75m wide paper roll from Savage. See the last picture for reference.
Of course my daughter wanted a picture with a rubber ducky on her head. Sure, go ahead.
